Though Taylor Swift has no connection with Netflix's reimagining of Little House on the Prairie , she was key to bringing the cast together.
This was revealed by Alice Halsey, who plays Laura Ingalls, in the new show.
“Listen, I am a Swiftie beyond your imagination,” she tells PEOPLE , adding, "I absolutely love her. I love all of her songs."
But not only Halsey; her co-stars, Skywalker Hughes (Mary) and Crosby Fitzgerald (Caroline) are also Swifties.
"I think that that was definitely a big bonding thing for us, Ingal," the 11-year-old shares.
