Swift will receive the inaugural MTV VMA Artist Director Honors at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards on Sept. 27 in Los Angeles, CBS and MTV announced. The new award recognizes music artists whose work behind the camera has advanced music videos and visual storytelling.
No word on whether she will attend the ceremony.
The honor breaks a tie atop the VMA record books between Swift and Beyoncé , who each had 30 career wins. Swift is now the most decorated artist in the show's history.
