The pop star gave Swifties something to celebrate with the release of the music video for her latest single, starring Dakota Johnson and Colin Farrell . She premiered the music video Sept. 27 at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.

The cinematic video opens in a snowy cemetery, where Johnson approaches a gravesite, and Swift appears behind her wearing the same outfit. From there, Johnson finds herself trapped in a toxic relationship with Farrell, who controls, belittles and gaslights her as the video begins to reveal that Swift's character lived through the same nightmare before her.
