Earlier this week, the Team Trump account - created during the 2024 presidential campaign - posted a video of Donald and Melania Trump watching fireworks with Swift's “August” soundtracking the clip. "I'm sure @Taylor Swift is going to be super excited we used her song! #taylorswift #maga #august,” the caption teased.
However, on Friday, U.S. users noticed that the Folklore track had been removed from the offending TikTok, with the message, “The copyright owner hasn't made this sound available in your country.”
