The station announced the news on Facebook this afternoon.
“It is with great sadness and shock that we need to let you know of the sudden passing of Andrew Leiataua yesterday due to an unexpected medical condition,” the post read.
“Andrew has been with us for 30 years and our More FM breakfast host here in Taupō for 20 years. He was a huge part of our community, and our thoughts are with Andrew’s family at this incredibly difficult time.”
