The annual general meeting (AGM) of Tata Sons Private Ltd, scheduled for Tuesday (August 18, 2026), was adjourned due to a lack of quorum , people familiar with the development said.
The meeting was scheduled for 2.30 pm at Bombay House, the headquarters of Tata Sons. However, after a 30-minute wait, the AGM was adjourned in accordance with the applicable norms.
The Board of Tata Sons is expected to meet in the coming weeks to decide on a fresh date for the AGM.
Tata Sons Chairperson N. Chandrasekaran, who had announced not to continue after February 2027, was seen arriving at the Bombay House for the meeting.
