Why it matters
Represents a significant corporate restructuring and branding shift for one of India's largest automotive manufacturers.
Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. (TMPV) on Thursday (August 27, 2026) unveiled TATA.CARS, its new consumer-facing global brand identity nearly a year after Tata Motors Ltd was demerged into two separate companies housing the commercial vehicles and passenger vehicles business.
All the showrooms of the company will now be rebranded as TATA.CARS.
