Tasmac outlet in Tiruvannamalai burgled
A Tasmac liquor outlet in Irumbedu was burgled, resulting in the theft of liquor bottles worth approximately ₹2 lakh. Police are currently investigating the incident after finding damaged locks and missing CCTV hardware.

Burglars decamped with liquor bottles that were worth around ₹2 lakh rupees at a Tasmac outlet in Irumbedu on Saturday.
The police said that outlet supervisor K. Purushothaman, 45, and salesman S. Palani, 38, saw the lock at the entrance of the outlet damaged, when they were about to open the shop around noon.
Several racks of liquor bottles were also stolen. Hard disks of CCTV cameras fixed inside the outlets were missing and the cameras were damaged.
