Tanzania,Rwanda seek to broaden ties in trade, energy, and utilisation of Dar Port
Tanzania and Rwanda are strengthening bilateral ties through discussions on trade, infrastructure, and energy. The ministers agreed to review their cooperation progress at a Joint Permanent Commission meeting scheduled for 2026.

DAR ES SALAAM: THE Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Ambassador Mahmoud Thabit Kombo, has held talks with Rwanda's Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ambassador Olivier Nduhungirehe, aimed at strengthening economic and development cooperation between the two neighbouring countries.
The meeting, held at the Ministry's sub-office in Dar es Salaam, focused on expanding bilateral cooperation in key sectors, including trade, infrastructure development, energy and the utilisation of the Port of Dar es Salaam.
