Tanzania directs traders to unveil challenges for them to contribute effectively to its economy

MTWARA: TRADERS have been urged to present challenges affecting their businesses to leaders and authorities at various levels within their local areas before escalating them to higher-level government officials.

The call was made on September 9, 2026, by Mtwara Regional Administrative Secretary, Bahati Geuzye, during a working meeting that brought together investment stakeholders and traders in Mtwara Region. The meeting was organised by the Tanzania Investment and Special Economic Zones Authority (TISEZA).
