Tanzania cherishes the academic achievement of ts 23 students at AASTMT in Egypt

Tanzanian Minister for Transport Prof. Makame Mbarawa visited the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport in Egypt to commend 23 Tanzanian students. The students are sponsored by the Tanzania Ports Authority and are being recognized for their academic excellence in maritime fields.

ALEXANDRIA: THE Minister for Transport Prof Makame Mbarawa has said Tanzania is proud of the reputation earned by 23 Tanzanian students studying at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) in Egypt, citing their discipline and outstanding academic performance.
Prof Mbarawa made the remarks in Alexandria during an official visit to the institution, where he met the students pursuing studies in Marine Engineering, Nautical Studies, International Business and Maritime Transport Logistics.
Speaking to the students after receiving a progress report from the university management, Prof Mbarawa congratulated them and urged them to continue serving as good ambassadors of Tanzania.
AASTMT President Prof Ismail AbdelGhafar Farag, for his part, said he was pleased with the performance of the Tanzanian students, describing them as role models at the institution.
