Tamil Nadu Home Secretary, TNEB Chairman transferred
The Tamil Nadu government has announced a series of high-level bureaucratic transfers involving the Home Secretary and the TNEB Chairman. K. Manivasan has been moved to the Commissioner of Land Administration, while A. Karthik takes over as the new Home Secretary.

Tamil Nadu Home Secretary K. Manivasan has been transferred and posted as Commissioner of Land Administration in the rank of Additional Chief Secretary.
Dr. Manivasan was appointed Home Secretary by the Election Commission ahead of the Assembly election. He held the portfolios of Home, Excise and Prohibition.
He has been replaced by A. Karthik, Chairman and Managing Director of the Tamil Nadu Small Industries Development Corporation (TANSIDCO).
Rajesh Lakhoni, Commissioner of Land Administration, has been posted as Chairman and Managing Director of TNEB and the Tamil Nadu Power Distribution Corporation Limited.
