Tamil Nadu Governor appeals for public participation in self-enumeration for Census

As the 2027 Census process have commenced in Tamil Nadu on Friday (July 17, 2026), Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar has appealed to the people of Tamil Nadu to participate in self-enumeration.
In a statement, he requested the public to register themselves in the self-enumeration phase , which will be conducted in the first stage of the two-phase population Census in Tamil Nadu.
