In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the Tamil Nadu government on Tuesday (September 8, 2026) transferred 27 IAS officers. N. Muruganandham, Additional Chief Secretary / Commissioner of Revenue Administration and Disaster Management, was transferred and posted as Chairman and Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Small Industries Corporation (TANSI).

He will be replaced by B. Chandramohan, Additional Chief Secretary, School Education. J. Innocent Divya, Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Handloom Weavers’ Cooperative Society (Co-optex), has been posted as Secretary, School Education.

Dharmendra Pratap Yadav, Chairman and Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Small Industries Corporation (TANSI) is the new Principal Secretary, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, replacing Prashant M. Wadnere.

R. Lilly, Commissioner, Stationery and Printing, is now Secretary, Handlooms, Handicrafts, Textiles and Khadi, replacing T.N. Venkatesh, posted as Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Urban Finance and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (TUFIDCO).
