Tamil Nadu government appoints V. Siva as Chairman of T.N. Housing Board
The Tamil Nadu government has appointed V. Siva as the new Chairman of the Tamil Nadu Housing Board. Siva, a district secretary for the TVK party, replaces Poochi S. Murugan who resigned from the position in May.

Months after the resignation of Poochi S. Murugan as Chairman of the Tamil Nadu Housing Board (TNHB), the Tamil Nadu government has appointed V. Siva as the new Chairman of TNHB on Tuesday (July 21, 2026).
A Government Order issued by the Housing and Urban Development Department said Mr. Murugan had resigned from the post on May 5. On Tuesday, Mr. Siva also met Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay at the Secretariat in Chennai.
