Tamil Nadu CM Vijay extends greetings on World Photography Day

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay, on Wednesday (August 19, 2026), extended greetings to all photographers on the occasion of World Photography Day.
In a post on X, the Chief Minister said photographers turn every moment of life into a life-long memory. Artistic photographs cannot be expressed in words. A photograph freezes the passing time in an instant, and carries the history forward to the next generation, he said.
Members of the Tamil Nadu Press Photographers Cooperative Housing Society met Mr. Vijay at the Secretariat on Wednesday.
