Takaichi offers support for horticultural expo in Japan

Japanese Prime Minister Takaichi Sanae has promised support for the International Horticultural Expo 2027, which is set to open in Yokohama City in March next year.
It will showcase new technologies in the industry.
On Monday, officials briefed the prime minister on the expo. It is headed by the chairman of the Japan Business Federation, Tsutsui Yoshinobu.
They showed Takaichi an expo uniform made of corn-derived fiber. The clothing can be
turned into plant compost after use.
