The Telangana government on Monday (September 7, 2026) appointed T. Usha Rani as the Superintendent of Gandhi Hospital, Secunderabad. Dr. Usha Rani previously served as the Superintendent of Government General Hospital, Nagarkurnool. The appointment order was issued by Health Secretary Christina Z. Chongthu.
In the same order, the government relieved Ch. Raja Kumari, Additional Director of Medical Education, Gandhi Hospital, Secunderabad, from her duties with immediate effect. She has been directed to report to the Director of Medical Education (DME).
