T.N. govt. allocates ₹828.36 crore for MLACDS

The Tamil Nadu government has allocated ₹828.36 crore for the Member of Legislative Assembly Constituency Development Scheme (MLACDS) for 2026-27, with each of the 234 Assembly segments receiving ₹3.54 crore. Detailed guidelines for the scheme's implementation from 2026-27 to 2030-31 have also been released.

The Tamil Nadu government has issued an order allocating ₹828.36 crore for implementing the Member of Legislative Assembly Constituency Development Scheme (MLACDS) for 2026-27.
A Government Order to this effect was issued by the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department. The amount sanctioned will be used for implementing the select list of works that fall under the ambit of the scheme for all 234 Assembly segments, with each Assembly segment getting ₹3.54 crore. This includes the 18% Goods and Services Tax component of ₹54 lakh.
