T.N. Chief Electoral Officer inspects EVM warehouse in Kanniyakumari

Chief Electoral Officer of Tamil Nadu Archana Patnaik inspected the Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) warehouse on the Kanniyakumari District Collectorate premises in Nagercoil in the presence of recognised political party members on Monday.
Ms. Patnaik inspected the EVM warehouse in the presence of Kanniyakumari District Collector M. Prathap to ensure that the safety and maintenance procedures of the EVMs were being followed as per the guidelines of the Election Commission of India (ECI).
She reviewed the availability of EVM and Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) units stored in the warehouse and checked their security status.
