System of a Down and Faith No More Confirm Australian and New Zealand Tour

System of a Down and Faith No More have announced a joint stadium tour across Australia and New Zealand for early next year. This marks the first time System of a Down has performed in Australia in over a decade.
Why it matters
The tour is a major event for the rock music scene in the Oceania region, ending a long hiatus for one of the headlining bands.
The pair of powerhouse bands will play in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Wellington in January and February of next year
All of last week’s teasers had a purpose: System of a Down and Faith No More are touring Australia and New Zealand.
On Friday (July 24th), murals featuring the former band’s iconic hand symbol were spotted in Melbourne and Sydney, while a light projection displaying Faith No More’s signature logo popped up in Brisbane on the same evening.
Sure enough, the pair of powerhouse bands have today confirmed a massive stadium run across the two countries.
They will play in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Wellington in January and February of next year (see full dates below).
