Victorian Police officials are preparing to conduct their interviews in Sydney as the investigation into the Swans’ hotel scandal continues. It has also has emerged that the Swans players involved made up a fake career when they were speaking to the exotic dancers. “When asked what they did for work, the players told the alleged victims they were carpenters,” 7NEWS sports reporter Tom Morris revealed on Thursday. They made that claim so they could get a discount. The scandal has rocked the AFL on the eve of the finals, with superstars Isaac Heeney, Chad Warner and Nick Blakey suspended for the rest of the season. Sydney role players James Jordon and Riley Bice have also been stood down and will not be considered for finals. Police are investigating allegations of sexual assault.
