After the Swans suspended five players at the centre of a police investigation into the assault for the rest of the season, the 256-gamer and former Bob Skilton Medallist has become the latest to publicly air his thoughts. Sydney vice-captain Isaac Heeney, star midfielder Chad Warner, Nick Blakey, James Jordon and Riley Bice issued a joint statement accepting their sanctions following their suspension on Wednesday. The Swans say the decision was made separate to the continuing Victoria Police investigation.
