Swiss firm Cotecna acquires Hyderabad-based Energon Labs HYDERABAD Swiss multinational Cotecna, which providers testing, inspection and certification (TIC) services, has acquired Hyderabad-based analytical testing laboratory Energon Labs. The acquisition strengthens its global Life Sciences platform and expands its pharmaceutical testing capabilities across the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, medical device and packaging sectors, said Cotecna, which was founded in Switzerland in 1974. The addition of Energon further complements its growing pharmaceutical testing network, which includes Cotecna Life Sciences, Shiva Analyticals and Neotron Pharma.
