Swiggy Instamart partners with HPCL to make cylinders available on-demand in Bengaluru
Swiggy Instamart has partnered with HPCL to offer on-demand LPG cylinder delivery in Bengaluru. This service allows customers to order 5kg or 10kg cylinders through the quick commerce app without needing an existing domestic connection.

Instamart, the quick commerce platform of Swiggy, has partnered with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) to launch India’s first on-demand LPG cylinder delivery service on a quick commerce platform.
The service will first go live in Bengaluru, where consumers can order HP Navya, the PSU’s 10 kg composite LPG cylinder and the 5 kg metal LPG cylinder through the platform.
Notably, no existing domestic LPG connection is required to place orders. The partnership aims to make on-demand option available for a wider set of consumers, including students, working professionals and smaller households.
“Instamart has expanded its consumption use cases well beyond groceries to become part of everyday life. With HPCL, we’re extending that convenience to an essential household service, bringing LPG onto Instamart while maintaining the safety and reliability standards consumers expect,” said Amitesh Jha, CEO, Instamart, in a statement.
