The 20-year-old is expected to fly out to Austria in the coming days to complete a medical, where head coach Vítor Matos’s squad are currently based for a pre-season training camp.
Once the paperwork is finalised, Opoku will become Swansea ’s fourth summer signing following the earlier arrivals of Celtic defender Stephen Welsh , Red Bull Salzburg winger Moussa Yeo , and Finnish midfielder Leo Walta .
