‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ campaign launched across Mysuru division

South Western Railway, Mysuru division on Thursday launched the Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS)-2026 Campaign on Thursday. The campaign will continue up to October 2, with a focus on cleanliness, public participation and awareness on responsible waste management.

The campaign commenced at the open-air auditorium of division office with the Swachhata Pledge administered by Mudit Mittal, Divisional Railway Manager, Mysuru. Shammas Hameed, Additional Divisional Railway Manager, senior divisional officers, railway staff and contract staff participated in the launch activities. Shramdaan (voluntary cleanliness activities) was also undertaken at various locations.

As part of the campaign, Swachhata Pledges, cleanliness drives, awareness programmes, educational visits and rallies were organised across the division in Mysuru, Ashokapuram, Sakleshpur, Davangere, Shivamogga, Harihar and Arsikere.
