A Nairobi court has allowed police four more days to hold two men suspected in the murder of Dr Victoria Mutiso as investigations continue.
In an application filed before principal magistrate Paul Mutai at the Milimani chief magistrate’s court on September 10, police officer Romana Odour, attached to the Homicide Investigations Department, urged the two suspects must remain in custody for another seven days
The suspects, Daniel Mwangi Njoroge and Kevin Ngugi Kinuthia, were arrested on August 7 and arraigned on August 10.
They were initially granted a 30-day custodial period, which was due to expire. Njoroge is being held at Pangani Police Station, while Kinuthia is at Gigiri Police Station.
