Suspect in Sons of Jacob Synagogue shooting dead

An SIU trailer remains parked outside the Sons of Jacob Synagogue, as their investigation into the shooting continues.
Ontario’s Special Investigations Unit is confirming that the suspect in Sunday’s Sons of Jacob Synagogue shooting is dead.
The police watchdog confirmed the news to Quinte News on Tuesday, saying that the suspect, identified as 29-year-old Sean Ward of Quinte West by Belleville police, died from his injuries on Monday night and an autopsy will be performed in Kingston on Wednesday.
