Suspect in Forest Grove quintuple homicide found dead in Washington, Sheriff says

Update (7:00 p.m.): Detectives with the Washington County Sheriff's Office announced Sunday night that the suspect in this quintuple homicide investigation was found dead. Deputies found Benjamin Parker, 36, dead inside his car in Enumclaw, Washington. "It is believed he died by suicide," said Sheriff Caprice Massey. "Detectives do not believe there is a danger to the public." A KATU News search found that it is likely Parker lived at the Hillside property with four other people. KATU did not find a criminal history record for Parker in the state of Oregon, but had a minor criminal record in Rhode Island for alleged driving with a suspended license in 2025 and allegedly possessing a stolen motor vehicle or parts in 2013. The investigation is ongoing, according to WCSO.
