Suriya’s next is ‘Scene’, directed by Jithu Madhavan; title teaser out

Scene is the title of Tamil superstar Suriya’s upcoming film with Malayalam filmmaker Jithu Madhavan , the makers announced on Wednesday (September 9) with a title teaser. Also produced by Suriya, the film is set to release in theatres on November 6

The teaser introduces Suriya as DSP Inbaraj, a fear-inducing cop whose very entrance gives a hint of the Suriya that Jithu wishes to tap into. “In the name of talent, you guys keep burying his nasty side,” tells someone as Inbaraj arrives in his jeep. We are later shown glimpses of how Inbaraj manages his jail. “For you, I might be the only cop who managed to arrest you. But for me, you are just one of the thousands of scum I have locked up in prison,” he says. In a surprise reveal, we also see Suriya in a young, dashing look as he exits in the rain.
