Support persons invited to handle POCSO cases in Dharmapuri

The Dharmapuri district administration is recruiting support persons to assist survivors of sexual violence under the POCSO Act. Qualified professionals in fields like law, psychology, or social work are invited to apply to help coordinate medical, legal, and rehabilitation services for victims.

The district administration has invited support persons/organisations to handle support for survivors of sexual violence under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act in Dharmapuri.
According to the administration, organisations or individuals trained in providing support for children of sexual abuse are invited to apply.
The support person must help coordinate with the Child Welfare Committee, District Child Protection Unit, police, medical departments and the court, and help secure the required medical help, psychological support, education and rehabilitation services along with periodic updates to the family on the progress of the case.
Applicants must have studied any of the following streams: Education, Children’s health, Law, Social Sciences, Social Work, Psychology, or any relevant streams. Persons with or without three years experience can apply. The minimum age limit is 25 years.
