Superior Detection Without Clinical Benefit: A Prospective Comparison
A prospective study conducted at Shaare Zedek Medical Center evaluated whether non-contrast computed tomography (NCCT) provides clinically meaningful management changes compared to ultrasonography for postoperative stone surgery patients. The study found that while NCCT has higher diagnostic accuracy, its impact on clinical management decisions is limited.
