Super Eagles midfielder Alhassan Yusuf says his hat-trick for New England Revolution was the result of work done in training as he inspired a 3-0 Major League Soccer victory over D.C. Yusuf scored all three goals in Washington to help the Revolution end a two-match winless run and become the club’s first player to score a regular-season hat-trick since 2017. Reflecting on his performance, the 26-year-old said the goals came from the team’s preparation and his ability to find himself in the right positions. “It’s something we have been practising for a while now from the beginning of the season and we got it right today.
