Sunil Grover on bringing his hilarious Indian TV characters to Hong Kong
Indian comedian Sunil Grover is set to perform a one-night show in Hong Kong, featuring his most popular television characters and Bollywood mimicry. The actor expressed his excitement about connecting with live audiences and celebrating his two-decade career.

Best known for his hilarious portrayals of characters such as Gutthi, Dr Mashoor Gulati and Rinku Devi on Indian television, comedian and actor Sunil Grover is bringing his trademark character comedy to Hong Kong for one night only at the Hopewell Hotel’s Grand Ballroom in Wan Chai on September 27.
“This is all about celebrating what I’ve done on television so far,” Grover, 49, says.
With a career spanning more than two decades, Grover rose to national fame for his iconic characters: Gutthi on Comedy Nights with Kapil, Dr Mashoor Gulati and Rinku Devi on The Kapil Sharma Show, and those in Bollywood films including Ghajini (2008), Gabbar Is Back (2015), Bharat (2019) and Jawan (2023). He confirms all will be part of the Hong Kong set.
