After a Dak Prescott interception late in the second quarter, the Giants took a 14-7 lead into halftime with Isaiah Likely’s 15-yard touchdown catch from quarterback Jaxson Dart. Then, after receiving the second-half kickoff, Likely scored his second touchdown to cap a 12-play, 74-yard drive that took 8:01 off the clock, pushing the lead to 21-7.
The Cowboys responded with a long touchdown drive of their own. But the Giants effectively put the game out of reach with another long drive featuring several swing passes — including Dart’s 9-yard TD pass to Devin Singletary.
That drive took 8:11 off the clock, leaving just 7:26 in the final period.
