Summer passenger records broken at Dublin Airport
Dublin Airport reported a record-breaking summer with 11.3 million passengers, marking a 1.8% increase over the previous year. The airport also announced infrastructure upgrades, including new security technology and improved facilities in Terminal 2.

Dublin Airport said today that August was another record-breaking month for it as a total of 3.8 million passengers passed throught the airport - a 1% increase on the same month last year.
The airport said the busy August added to what was its busiest ever summer, with just over 11.3 million passengers travelling through - an additional 198,000 or 1.8% increase on the same time last year.
Every day in June, July and August saw more than 100,000 passengers at Dublin Airport, it noted.
The busiest day in August was Sunday, August 16, when 134,700 passengers went through the airport, making it Dublin Airport's third-busiest day ever. Four of the airport's ten busiest days ever were recorded during August.
