Suburban train held up at Park Station due to technical snag

A suburban train in Chennai experienced a 35-minute delay due to a technical issue at Park Station. Railway officials managed the disruption by short-terminating subsequent services to minimize commuter inconvenience.

A suburban train bound for Chennai Beach from Tambaram was delayed for about 35 minutes after developing a technical snag at Chennai Park Railway Station on Thursday.
According to railway officials, EMU Train No. 40068 was detained at Park station at around 5.30 p.m. following a minor technical issue.
To regulate suburban train services during the disruption, the following Train No. 40072 was short-terminated at Chennai Egmore and turned towards Tambaram. Railway staff rectified the technical issue promptly, following which Train No. 40068 resumed its journey from Park Station at 6.05 p.m.
