Study finds weak evidence for post-hospital alcohol use disorder treatment
A systematic review by researchers at the University of Colorado Anschutz and Yale University found limited evidence supporting the effectiveness of hospital-based interventions for alcohol use disorder. The study suggests that current methods for connecting patients to outpatient care after discharge are not sufficiently backed by data.
