Students wait for GCSE and BTec grades as app launches for 750 schools in England
Students across England, Wales, and Northern Ireland are receiving their GCSE and vocational exam results this week. For the first time, pupils at over 750 schools in England can access their grades via a new mobile app alongside traditional in-person collection.

Schools and colleges will distribute grades in person, but from 11:00 BST pupils at more than 750 schools in England will also be able to see their grades on their phones.
Results this year come as the government in England plans to boost technical education and address a growing number of English and Maths GCSE resits.
Last year, 67.4% of all GCSE entries were graded 4/C or above.
