Students urged to make effective use of academic opportunities at MITS

MITS Deemed to be University in Madanapalle has officially commenced the academic year for its first-year B. Tech, BCA, and BBA students. During the inaugural ceremony, university leadership and guest speaker Suma Varghese emphasized the importance of leveraging modern technological resources and academic opportunities to prepare for a rapidly evolving professional landscape.

MITS Deemed to be University, Madanapalle, formally commenced classes for the first-year B. Tech, BCA and BBA students with a grand inaugural programme on Monday.
The programme was inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp by MITS Founder and Chancellor N. Vijaya Bhaskar Choudary; former Director General of DRDO and eminent scientist from Bengaluru, Suma Varghese; Pro-Chancellor N. Dwarakanath; Vice-Chancellor C. Yuvaraj; registrar D. Pradeep Kumar; and principal P. Ramanathan, along with other dignitaries.
Addressing the students, Ms. Suma Varghese said that engineering was a unique profession that encouraged individuals to experiment without fear of failure and develop innovative solutions to real-world problems. She said that the world was undergoing rapid transformation with the emergence of technologies such as Generative Artificial Intelligence, Quantum Computing, Biotechnology and Advanced Robotics.
