Students, staff donate 180 units of blood at blood donation camp

A blood donation camp jointly organised by Round Table India and Rotary Blood Bank, in association with Dr. Lankapalli Bullayya College, collected 180 units of blood from students and staff.
Area chairman Anirudh Sompalli commended the campus community for their proactive participation. “Such initiatives reflect the spirit of social responsibility among the younger generation and inspire more people to come forward for a noble cause,” he stated.
The drive focused on student sensitisation, educating attendees on how donated blood serves as a vital, life-saving support during surgical procedures, trauma care, and unforeseen medical emergencies.
