Students showcase innovative solutions at KITSW hackathon
The Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science (KITS) in Warangal hosted a hackathon called 'Resolve 2026' to encourage student innovation. Participants developed technology-driven solutions for real-world challenges across eight themes, including smart agriculture, healthcare, and sustainability.

The Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science (KITS), Warangal, organised ‘Resolve 2026’, a one-day hackathon, on the campus on Saturday.
Addressing the event, principal K. Ashoka Reddy said the event was aimed at promoting innovation, practical learning, teamwork and technology-driven solutions to real-world challenges. The hackathon provided students with an opportunity to develop innovative ideas and apply emerging technologies to address contemporary issues, he added.
The competition revolved around eight themes: smart agriculture management, healthcare, fintech, smart cities, disaster management, sustainability and energy, Industry 4.0, and education and assistive technology. Participants worked on problem statements drawn from real-world challenges and proposed solutions using technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), machine learning, IoT-ML integration, prototyping and simulation.
