The victim, a Kumily resident enrolled in a laptop and mobile repair course in Thodupuzha, lived in a hostel with 13 students in three rooms. After noticing three students using ganja, he informed the institute’s faculty.

The teachers instructed him to record video evidence of the drug use. Following their instructions, he recorded a clip and handed it over to the officials.
