More than 150 days into Negeri Sembilan’s royal imbroglio, residents are growing weary of the prolonged crisis, expressing disappointment that the dispute has yet to end.

Regardless of political leanings, the consensus among those Malaysiakini polled in Rantau and Paroi was that outsiders, particularly politicians, should not interfere in the power tussle, which involves customary laws and interpretations of the state constitution.
