Katharoo Fest, a storytelling festival for children, is back this year with the theme “Our Earth, Our Responsibility – Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Repair, Recycle.” The festival will be held on August 1 and 2, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Sir Sivaswami Kalalaya Senior Secondary School, Mylapore.
According to a press release, the two-day festival will bring together children, families and storytellers through storytelling sessions, puppet shows, workshops, book exchanges, children’s book stalls and interactive activities. The event aims to encourage sustainable living by helping participants explore simple, everyday practices that can reduce waste and protect the environment.
