Stormont Speaker accuses First Minister of ‘gross discourtesy’ over Drumcree question no-show

The First Minister has been accused of “gross discourtesy” and “contempt” to the Northern Ireland Assembly by its Speaker.

Speaker Edwin Poots said Michelle O’Neill “needs to come and answer to the community of Northern Ireland” after she did not show up to the Assembly to answer an urgent oral question on the Drumcree parading dispute .
