Flood warnings have been issued for nine coastal counties and numerous riverside communities as Storm Boelo makes its way across Ireland this weekend.
Met Éireann has placed Galway, Mayo, Sligo, Donegal and Leitrim under an orange alert for very strong winds, and under a yellow warning for rain until Saturday afternoon.
Kerry and Galway are under an orange alert for intense rain over the same period.
Kerry is also under a yellow warning for wind, with Clare and Limerick. Connacht had also been put under a yellow wind warning yesterday.
A yellow rain warning is in effect for counties Clare, Cork, and Limerick. It extends until 3pm on Saturday.
Donegal is also subject to a yellow status wind warning until 3pm on Saturday, while Cavan and Monaghan will be under the same wind-level warning from Saturday 6pm until midnight.
