Steinberg Named First Chair of National Sea Simulator
Professor Peter Steinberg has been appointed as the inaugural Chair of the National Sea Simulator (SeaSim) Advisory Group in Australia. He will oversee research applications for the marine facility to ensure scientific integrity.

The Australian Institute of Marine Science (AIMS) welcomes internationally recognised marine scientist Professor Peter Steinberg as the inaugural Chair of the National Sea Simulator (SeaSim) Advisory Group.
Professor Steinberg will lead the independent Advisory Group responsible for reviewing and recommending research applications to the SeaSim Access Program, with final approvals made by the AIMS Chief Executive Officer
Professor Steinberg said he was honoured to take on the role and contribute to the future of Australia's premier marine research infrastructure.
"I'm thrilled with my appointment as Chair of the SeaSim Advisory Group. SeaSim is a globally unique facility, and the research it enables will play an important role in our understanding and management of marine ecosystems.
