Steganography in procedurally generated normal maps via angular half-bin relabeling embedding
Researchers have developed a new steganography method called Half-Bin Relabeling Embedding (HBRE) that hides data within procedurally generated normal maps. By using synthetic assets instead of real-world images, the technique avoids cover-source bias and demonstrates high resistance to machine learning-based detection.
